About the event
Overview: This quick, 2-hour course offers teachers basic information on the support of ESOL students in their classroom. They will learn the stages of second language acquisition, how to provide accommodations for ESOL students, how to incorporate ESOL strategies in their day-to-day teaching, and the requirements surrounding ESOL support. After attending class and completing the follow-up, participants will earn 4 general in-service points!
Who would benefit from this class? New educators and veterans looking to refresh their routines or share best practices!
This course is delivered online via Zoom. The link will be emailed to those accepted into the course the week before class.
All PEA Professional Development courses are offered exclusively and for FREE to members!
