In this new PEA offering, experienced mentor teachers work with participants to develop their leadership skills and provide guidance to their colleagues for dynamic and transformative relationships. They will examine the characteristics of adult learners and different coaching models.

About the event

This course is for educators interested in using research-based best practices to support fellow educators through coaching and team building. Participants will develop their leadership skills and provide guidance to their colleagues for dynamic and transformative relationships. They will examine the characteristics of adult learners and different coaching models. Participants will analyze and implement data-based coaching conversations, effective listening skills, and strategies to effectively establish trust.


Each session (4 total) will include a review of skills and strategies relevant to coaching and team building.  Participants will decide at the end of each session what they would like to focus on the next time!


*Please note* While these sessions can be attended individually, as a stand-alone, they are designed to build upon one another as the year progresses.
