In this new PEA offering, experienced mentor teachers work with participants to develop their leadership skills and provide guidance to their colleagues for dynamic and transformative relationships. They will examine the characteristics of adult learners and different coaching models.

About the event
This course is for educators interested in using research-based best practices to support fellow educators through coaching and team building. Participants will develop their leadership skills and provide guidance to their colleagues for dynamic and transformative relationships. They will examine the characteristics of adult learners and different coaching models. Participants will analyze and implement data-based coaching conversations, effective listening skills, and strategies to effectively establish trust.
Each session (4 total) will include 1 hour of skills and strategies followed by one hour of practice/modeling of coaching cycles. Participants will decide at the end of each session what they would like to focus on the next time!
