Polk Education Association is proud to announce our reimagined Para Academy course!
This course provides current and potential paraprofessionals with information about your contract, building a professional binder, your evaluation system, the Greenhouse Project, professional development opportunities, and more!
Any PEA-offered professional development is FREE to PEA members.
PEA members are prioritized in registration and the waitlist.
This course will be open to ALL current PCPS employees (paras, provisional paras, bus drivers, custodians, etc.) FREE of cost (even if you are NOT a PEA member–but we hope you will join!)
This is a 6-hour class. Participants who attend the course and are eligible for in-service points can earn 6 in-service points.
