About the event
PEA is proud to announce another offering of Building Relationships in Your Classroom! This course is designed to equip educators with the skills and knowledge to foster classroom community. This is accomplished through cultivating relationships with students, teaching students to build relationships with one another, facilitating student agency, and promoting collaboration in the classroom.
Building Relationships in Your Classroom is offered in one day spanning 6 hours. Participants who complete the class must enroll in the NetConnect course and complete the independent study material (submitted through Schoology) at the end of the course to receive their 12 in-service points.
- Any PEA-offered professional development is exclusive to and FREE for PEA members.
You must attend the entire session and complete independent study to receive in-service points. The date and time for this course is:
- Saturday, January 13th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Classes will be held at the Polk Education Association office at 730 E. Davidson St. Bartow, FL 33830. Participants should bring a laptop to access electronic materials and complete sign-ups during the course. Parking is limited so a light lunch will be provided (if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring your own lunch).
