Acerca del evento

FYRE is the Florida Education Association’s (FEA) early career educator program that connects, empowers, and advocates for new teachers through training, networking, and union engagement. FYRE gives new educators a voice, community, and tools to advocate for their students, their union, and the profession, while helping them grow professionally and personally

What FYRE Is

Founded in 2013 by FEA, FYRE stands for Florida’s Young Remarkable Educators. It was created to support early career educators in both their professional and union lives by aligning their core values with FEA’s principles of integrity, advocacy, respect, and empowerment

Scope and Structure

  • Statewide presence: Nearly 20 active chapters, with more in formation

  • Local chapters: Each district or association (e.g., Polk Education Association, Lake County Education Association, Escambia FEA) has its own FYRE cadre, often with local events, socials, and mentoring
